Emeralds Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 11th , 2044 The Eugene Emeralds never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. The Emeralds have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 29 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2035. In the last 10 seasons, the Emeralds have only made the playoffs once. |
