Paige Snags NL Batting Honor in July Monday, August 1st , 2044 Jared Paige put together a good July to earn the National League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Salem-Keizer officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Volcanoes left fielder posted a .329 batting average with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
