Hickory Sweeps into the Conference Championship Thursday, October 13th , 2044 The Charleston RiverDogs were simply overmatched by the Hickory Crawdads in the Division Championship. The end result was a sweep, as Hickory has cruised to the Conference Championship, with the final win coming at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park by a score of 14-5. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Doug Hammertime, who was named MVP of the Division Championship. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Hammertime hit .692 with a .765 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 6 runs.
