Loons Listless in 14-0 Loss to Braves Sunday, September 4th , 2044 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Great Lakes Loons as starter Sean Geer shut out the Great Lakes Loons 14-0 at Atlanta Braves Complex. The Atlanta (MID) pitcher struck out 7 and walked 1 while allowing 4 hits. "Geer was good but he wasn't flawless," Great Lakes manager Aaron Holbert said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Atlanta (MID), but this is on us." This season Geer has compiled a 3-3 mark with a 3.97 ERA. |
