League Punishes Pair for Fighting Tuesday, August 23rd , 2044 Ian Richardson of Augusta and Joey Keim of Kane County were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Richardson will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Keim was given 8 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Richardson is currently batting .231 with 8 home runs and 26 RBIs. For the year Keim has 3 relief appearances and a 5-4 record with no saves. He has logged 103 innings and allowed 82 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .215 batting average against him. Keim has rung up 100 strikeouts, surrendered 33 walks and fashioned a 2.80 ERA. |
