NL Player of the Week Goes to Kristensen of Dayton Monday, August 15th , 2044 So far in his young career, Kristian Kristensen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Dayton Dragons left fielder hit at a torrid .407 clip as he collected 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This season Kristensen is hitting .306 with 19 home runs. |
