Burlington Loses Walrath for Season Thursday, June 9th , 2044 Mike Walrath had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 06/08/2044. Today he received word from the Burlington doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. This season Walrath has accumulated 1 save, registered a 1.70 ERA and struck out 42 in 42.1 innings. He also has a 1-2 record in 30 relief appearances. |
