Suns Listless in 7-0 Loss to Power Sunday, June 5th , 2044 It wasn't easy but the West Virginia Power made it look that way. Starter Ryan Rakoff shut out the Hagerstown Suns despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the West Virginia Power cruised to victory, 7-0. Rakoff allowed only 3 hits and rang up 11 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." His record this season is 6-4 in 12 starts and Rakoff has a 3.16 ERA. |
