 Andres Valles took California Winter League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26.
 
 For his spectacular campaign, the Tampa Yankees star has been named the 2043 A Division Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
 
 "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder.
 
 On the season he compiled a .328 batting average to go with a .422 on-base percentage. The native of Caracas, Venezuela also added 10 doubles, no triples, 25 home runs, 54 RBIs and 50 runs scored.
 
 He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30. Yusuke Nakamura of the High Desert Mavericks finished second in voting, while Louie Horne of the Bradenton Marauders finished third.
