Lakeland's Cabrera B's Best Monday, December 14th , 2043 So far in his young career, Bill Cabrera has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the B Division in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Lakeland Flying Tigers right fielder hit at a torrid .476 clip as he collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Cabrera has put up a .362 batting average with 21 hits, 10 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
