Lamb Booms 3 out of the Park Saturday, September 24th , 2044 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Chance Lamb did today at AT&T Field, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-1. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Lamb said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Frisco RoughRiders shortstop blistered the Chattanooga Lookouts for 3 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Chattanooga manager Josh Griess said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Chance Lamb struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Kazuo Nishihara in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Ferry in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Ferry in the 8th. In the 2044 season Lamb is hitting .309 with 3 home runs. |
