Leroux on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 1st , 2044 So far in his young career, Harris Leroux has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Akron RubberDucks right fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Leroux has compiled a .305 batting average and a .338 on-base percentage, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 50 runs. |
