Torrid June Gets Aragon NL #1 Batter Trophy Friday, July 1st , 2044 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Salvador Aragon has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Mobile BayBears star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the National League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .348 average with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Thus far this season Aragon is hitting .316 with 15 home runs, 46 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 83 hits in 263 at-bats and has played in 71 games. |
