DiFiore Gets 10-0 Shutout Monday, September 21st , 2043 Troy DiFiore spun his magic in a 10-0 shutout victory at Hadlock Field today, leading the Trenton Thunder to victory, 10-0 over the Portland Sea Dogs. The Trenton pitcher put quite a spell on Portland in a strong performance, allowing 1 hit while totaling 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," DiFiore said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." Over the season DiFiore has thrown 170 innings and dished out 188 strikeouts with a 15-4 mark and a 2.59 ERA. |
