New Hampshire Downs Erie as Harted Tosses 19-0 Shutout Wednesday, August 26th , 2043 Hoof Harted kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats were all smiles after winning 19-0 against the Erie SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park today. The right-handed Harted gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 9 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Harted said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." This year Harted has worked 181 innings with 153 strikeouts en route to a 17-4 record and a 2.34 ERA. |
