Bulls Giacoletti Decides to Retire Sunday, October 2nd , 2044 Giuliano Giacoletti is stepping away from the game of baseball at the end of the season. The Durham Bulls player gave a brief explanation to reporters this afternoon. "It's time to step away from the game and work on phase two of my life - world domination," the 39-year-old joked. Giacoletti wisecracked for several minutes while reminiscing about high and low points of his career. At the end of the session, Giacoletti sent a personal message. "I truly thank all you fans." Career-to-date Giacoletti is hitting .312 with a total of 57 home runs. |
