League Suspends Leon and Hall for Brawl Sunday, September 18th , 2044 If there wasn't a history between Jose Leon of Round Rock and Ken Hall of Omaha, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 9 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Leon said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this year Leon is batting .234 with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season-to-date Hall has 8 wins and 8 losses and a 5.04 ERA. |
