Thomsen Hurls Bats to Shutout Victory Saturday, September 17th , 2044 Jeremy Thomsen of the Louisville Bats shut out the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 11-0 at Coca-Cola Park today, holding them to 3 hits with no walks and 7 strikeouts. Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Lehigh Valley skipper Erich Knab called the outing from Thomsen "a jewel." "The way Thomsen was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said. This year Thomsen has a 7-12 record and a 4.56 ERA. |
