Pawtucket Starter Selected Best Pitcher Thursday, September 1st , 2044 The Pawtucket Red Sox felt very secure when they sent J.J. Dean out to the hill last month. The 21-year-old starter went after American League hitters with a vengeance and earned August's Pitcher of the Month award. He went 4-1 with a 1.02 ERA as he struck out 29 in 44.1 innings over 6 starts. This season Dean has registered 15 wins and 8 losses in 27 starts with a 3.30 ERA. |
