Season-Ending Injury for Whitemore Sunday, August 14th , 2044 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Rochester's Frank Whitemore to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/11/2044 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Whitemore said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Whitemore has been out of action since he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. This season Whitemore has compiled a 2-1 mark, 2.38 ERA and made 0 starts. |
