Noriega Nabs AL #1 Pitcher Award Monday, August 1st , 2044 The American League made it official today -- Dustin Noriega of the Round Rock Express is the Pitcher of the Month. In July he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Noriega made 5 starts, registered 4 wins and 1 loss with a solid 0.50 ERA. In 35.2 innings he allowed 16 hits, racked up 40 strikeouts, walked 3 and permitted teams to hit .132 against him.
