League Suspends Mills and Ventura for Fisticuffs Wednesday, June 8th , 2044 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Charlotte-Norfolk contest at BB&T Stadium. The Knights Darwin Mills and the Tides Ace Ventura will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Mills has 1 home run and a .314 batting average. So far this season, Ventura has logged a 4-4 record with a 3.86 ERA. He has started 11 games, hurled 65.1 innings and registered 53 strikeouts and 21 walks. |
