The Cleveland Indians topped the Minnesota Twins by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Dan Hill. Hill went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Indians on the day. Cleveland reliever Willie Encinas picked up the win to move to 1-0. Travis Feind suffered the loss. Cleveland, now 11-17, is off to a slow start.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Hill hit a slider from Travis Feind for a run-scoring double. The Indians, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Hill said.
