		| Gomez Smacks 5 Hits for River Bandits |  
		| It was a parade of hits for Salvador Gomez of the Quad Cities River Bandits at Whitaker Bank Ballpark today. 
 Connecting with regularity, Gomez finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but the Legends rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 17-8 win.
 
 "Gomez was really good, we were just a little better," said Legends manager Tyler Sturdevant in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win."
 
 Salvador Gomez doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.\n
 
 In his stats this season, Gomez has posted a batting average of .295 with 13 hits in 44 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBIs. He has also scored 4 runs, walked 2 times and compiled a .326 OBP.
