					| Braves Win, 7-4, at Colorado |
					| The Atlanta Braves topped the Colorado Rockies by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Tom Best. Best was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Braves on the day. Joe Testa, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 3-2. Marcos Tejeda closed the door for Atlanta, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
Atlanta used the clutch hitting of Reilly Hawkins to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Braves ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Colorado manager Nick Barron.

 Colorado drops to 5-18.
