Braves Win, 7-4, at Colorado
|
The Atlanta Braves topped the Colorado Rockies by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Tom Best. Best was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Braves on the day. Joe Testa, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3.
