Bijleveld got the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. Bijleveld allowed no runs. The defeat makes California 10-14.
Seattle relied on the bat of Bi-jun Chien to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put the Mariners ahead, 2-0. For the game, Chien had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
