					| Though the conditions were not ideal, the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants came back from a rain delay to finish their game. 
 Los Angeles Dodgers starter Ray Scifo was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the San Francisco Giants, 4-1. Chut-sai Teoh locked down his 4th save.
 
 Tsutomu Irie, the 29-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Irie contributed a run-scoring  ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-1.
 
 "We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Irie said after the game.
 
 Los Angeles goes to 13-9.
