					| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Angels |
					| The Angels grabbed a win, 4-2, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, overcoming a fine effort from Houston pitcher Shane Walker. Walker went 8.1 innings and allowed 1 run. California reliever Austin Maki picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Bill Dillard took the loss. The Astros fall to 8-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2044 season.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 13th, with California trailing 2-1, Jack Bell hit a fastball from Bill Dillard for a 3-run home run, giving the Angels the walk-off win.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Houston manager Dave DaSilva.
