					| Phillies Top Marlins, 6-3 |
					| The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.
The 6-3 Philadelphia win over Miami was due in large part to Eric Katz. The Phillies right fielder went 4 for 4 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times. Philadelphia starter Lennart Hjelm was credited with the win after throwing 100 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Rico Romero was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 2nd of the season.

Alberto Figueroa broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Phillies in front, 4-3. For the game, Figueroa was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I love to hit," said Katz. "As long as I keep loving it, the game's going to love me back."

 Philadelphia goes to 8-10.
