Los Angeles picked up a win at Chase Field, toppling the Arizona Diamondbacks, 4-1. Pitcher Alastair Tippett was one of the reasons the Dodgers triumphed. Tippett, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. So far, the 2044 season has been disappointing for Arizona, now 5-8.

It could have been a different outcome for Los Angeles, had it not been for Chris Ringwood, the three-time All-Star . Ringwood contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.

Ringwood attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
