					| Marlins Double Up Braves, 6-3 |
					| Jeckel Hester did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Atlanta Braves from losing, 6-3, to the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park. Hester went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Alex Mora was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. The save went to Travis Small, his 3rd this season.
The Marlins got a big at-bat from third baseman Justin Huff. For the game, Huff went 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Miami a 3-2 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Huff told the Miami Daily News.

 The loss makes Atlanta 1-7.
