Extra-Inning Win by Brewers Over Royals
|
The Milwaukee Brewers did just enough to sneak past the Kansas City Royals, 5-4, at Miller Park. Milwaukee pitcher Mekonen Mahfudh, in particular, had a standout performance. The loss makes Kansas City 1-3.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Milwaukee designated hitter Cooper Broomhall, facing Cody Autry, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Brewers the 5-4 win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Broomhall said after the game.
