					| Diamondbacks Win at San Francisco, 5-2 |
					| Behind an impressive start by Art Nobles, Arizona beat San Francisco, 5-2. Nobles went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-0. Andrew Coker got the save, the 1st for him this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Arizona, had it not been for Mario Soto, the 31-year old first baseman . Soto contributed a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put Arizona up, 3-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Soto told the Arizona Daily News.

The defeat makes San Francisco 1-1.
