		| 5-Hit Game for Neuroth |
		| A jubilant Sean Neuroth joined the postgame press conference at George M. Steinbrenner Field today to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Pittsburgh (WIN) Pirates pitching staff he had just vanquished.
"It may not have looked like it," said the New York (WIN) Yankees second baseman, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-8 hitting performance, which led the Yankees to a 7-6 win.

"He made it look easy," said Miguel Cabrera, manager of the Pirates. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Sean Neuroth singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, hit an RBI double in the 10th, struck out in the 12th and struck out in the 14th.

Currently Neuroth is hitting .444 and has collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 10 times, while playing in 12 games.
