All went well for Yuri Thra of the El Paso Chihuahuas as he pitched his team to a 11-0 shutout victory over the Reno Aces, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Thra on the day.

"Yuri's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Chihuahuas manager Dan McKown. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the El Paso left-hander rang up 6 and surrendered 1 walk.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Aces manager Shawn Tolleson. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
