Reno Aces fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as John Salzmann blanked the Iowa Cubs, 7-0 at Aces Ballpark today. Salzmann stopped them on 1 hit while walking 0 and striking out 8.

"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Aces skipper Shawn Tolleson said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
