					| Rockies Stumble, Lose to Giants |
					| Led by Ryan Braden, the San Francisco Giants downed the Colorado Rockies, 8-4. Braden went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Giants. Keith Kidd was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. The win puts San Francisco at 93-64 this season.
San Francisco catcher Kanehisa Kubo contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a curveball into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 35th hit of the season and put the Giants ahead, 6-3.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Kubo.
