					| Mets Nip Nationals, 3-2 |
					| The New York Mets got a good effort from starter Matt McAtee in defeating the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. The final score was 3-2. Reliever Chris Thurner picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. Brian Ramirez took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for New York.
It could have been a different outcome for New York, had it not been for Javy Rosa, the five-time Great Glove Award winner . Rosa contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the ninth inning to put New York up, 3-2.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Mike Shore.
