					| Mize Socks 2 Home Runs in 5-3 Toronto Win |
					| A 4-RBI performance from third baseman Tommy Mize, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2039 draft, led the Toronto Blue Jays to a win over the California Angels, 5-3. Timo Lantinga got the win, improving to 16-10. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 0. J.J. Thompson earned his 25th save in 30 chances.
Mize contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Toronto in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Mize took a forkball from Aldo Questi and stroked the home run to left-center. His 21st home run of the season allowed the Blue Jays to leap in front, 3-1.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Toronto manager Nersha Bainco. "It's usually not just one thing."

With the win, Toronto pushed its record to 82-69.
