					| Expos Bridle Mets, 2-1 |
					| The Montreal Expos got a good effort from starter Brian White in defeating the New York Mets at Quebecor Stadium. The final score was 2-1. White, now 14-10, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Montreal has a 3-game win streak, while New York has lost 3 in a row.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when center fielder Bran Stark, who is a three-time Great Glove Award winner, hit a triple. The Expos went on to win.

Stark said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
