					| Giants Win at Oakland, 4-3 |
					| The San Francisco Giants did just enough to sneak past the Oakland Athletics, 4-3, at O.co Coliseum. San Francisco pitcher Curt Howland, in particular, had a standout performance. San Francisco reliever Andrew Kindig picked up the win, while Mike Chapman took the loss for Oakland. Oakland, at 57-91, has lost 4 straight.
San Francisco took a 4-3 lead on Ryan Braden's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Braden hit in the top of the ninth, left Oakland pitcher Mike Chapman shaking his head.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said San Francisco manager Jobo Foster.
