					| The Detroit Tigers dealt the Chicago White Sox a 5-3 loss at U.S. Cellular Field. Ryan Neal was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. Ryan Sobocinski picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 18-3. Riso Profanter, credited with the save, is now 32 for 40 in save opportunities. 
 Greg Harman, the 28-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Harman contributed a run-scoring  hit-by-pitch in the top of the seventh inning to put Detroit up, 5-3.
 
 "I felt good up there," said Neal. "I saw the ball well."
 
 With the win, Detroit upped its record to 100-48.
