					| The Miami Marlins topped the Washington Nationals by the score of 8-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Jimmy Groseclose. Groseclose belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Marlins on the day. Miami starter John Dinsmore was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-4. The Marlins sport a record of 40-103. 
 With two out in the bottom of the second, Roger Salazar barreled up a fastball from Tim Wybenga. The result was a grand slam home run, putting the Marlins in front, 6-0.
