Schumacher on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Minnesota
It seemed that Texas center fielder Cody Schumacher could do no wrong as the Rangers KO'd the Twins, 9-8 today. Schumacher rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Twins hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Rangers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Minnesota fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Schumacher in the postgame press interview.

Cody Schumacher hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Presently Schumacher is batting .252 with 112 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 76 runs and scored 66 times.
