					| Washington Beats Miami, 4-2 |
					| The Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins, 4-2, at Marlins Park. Washington first baseman Armando Carbajal had an outstanding performance. He was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. Tim Wybenga was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts. Manuel Romero earned his 16th save in 20 chances.
It could have been a different outcome for Washington, had it not been for Seth Cook, the 23-year old second baseman . Cook contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Washington up, 2-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Carbajal said.

The Marlins, now 37-95, have lost 8 in a row.
