					| With 5-2 Win, Mets Improve to 82-47 |
					| The New York Mets defeated the Washington Nationals, 5-2. Doing his part was third baseman Tomas Caldera, who went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Kyae-sung Che was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. The victory gives New York a record of 82-47.
Scott Scott had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the New York shortstop hit a run-scoring single. That put the Mets in front, 5-2.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Caldera.
