					| The Montreal Expos topped the Chicago White Sox, 4-0, in American League action at Quebecor Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Montreal pitcher and Reed City, Michigan, native Jonathan Jackson. Jackson picked up the win for Montreal, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 11-10. The win puts Montreal at 65-64 this season. 
 The Expos got a big hit from center fielder Pete Barutha. In the bottom of the fifth, Barutha pounded a solo  home run to right. His 19th home run of the season put the Expos ahead, 2-0.
 
 "I thought we played a nice game," Jackson told the Montreal Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
