					| Hernandez Now 18-3 After Subduing Indians |
					| The losses keep piling up for the Cleveland Indians.
The Boston Red Sox topped the Cleveland Indians, 6-3, in American League action at Progressive Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Jeremy Hernandez. Guadalupe Vasguez converted his 14th save in 16 tries.

Hernandez, who was born in Wenatchee, Washington, threw 109 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing 3 runs.

"I had a good game plan," said Hernandez. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Rob Diederichs said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."

Cleveland's current losing streak is now 10 games.
