					| 2044  is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Cleveland Indians. 
 The Cincinnati Reds scored a tight 7-6 win versus the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. Cincinnati pitcher Bryce Schimmoeller held his own in the contest. Schimmoeller, the winner, moves to 5-8. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. Picking up the save was Paul Forbes. He's now 20 for 21 in save chances.
 
 Cincinnati relied on the hitting of Jon Ledesma to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run  home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Reds on top, 7-3. For the game, Ledesma had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
 
 "You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cincinnati manager Jimmy Silveira II.
 
 The victory gives Cincinnati a record of 66-48.
