					| Giants Edge Past Raptors, 9-8 |
					| The San Francisco (APP) Giants beat the Ogden Raptors, 9-8 at Rawling Foundation Complex, in part due to third baseman Gregorio Contreras, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The Giants raised their record to 85-58.
One significant plate appearance for San Francisco (APP) came with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning. Giants pinch hitter Luis Arellano reached on an error by the SS, which helped San Francisco (APP) go on to win.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Contreras. "Winning helps."
